TYPE 2 DIABETES PROGRAM
Type 2 Diabetes is a long term metabolic disorder that is characterized by high blood sugar, insulin resistance, and relative lack of insulin. The common symptoms include increased thirst, frequent urination, and unexplained weight loss. Feeling exhausted, experiencing increased hunger pains and having sores that do not heal may be other symptoms one might experience.
There are several options of anti-diabetic medications available to treat Type 2 Diabetes. Metformin is generally recommended as a first line treatment, but there is some evidence that it can decrease mortality. A second oral agent of another class or insulin may be added if Metformin is not sufficient after three months. These medications have been known to be associated with increased rates of heart disease and death.
When looking into conventional medical treatments for Type 2 Diabetes, there is a very important question you need to consider: Are these prescription methods of treatment improving the health and wellness of your body or are they creating bigger problems for your health down the road?
Our advice is to treat the body as a complete system, rather than treating individual symptoms through traditional western methods.
